Before you start
I have never learned French. Can I join?
Yes. Our Welcome séjour programme (A0, 3 months) starts from zero, with explanations in Tamil, Sinhala or English when you need them. Then you continue in A1.
How many students are in a class?
10 students maximum, so the teacher has time for everyone.
Which level do I need for my card?
A2 for a first multi-year residence card, B1 for the 10-year resident card and B2 for French nationality, plus the civic exam. Some people are exempt.
Where do I take the DELF exam?
We prepare you for the DELF and the civic exam. Then you take the exam at the exam session of your choice, and we tell you where and when.
How long is each course?
Welcome séjour A0: 3 months. DELF A1: 5 months (4 months of classes + 1 month of mock exams). DELF A2 and DELF B1: 7 months (6 months of classes + 1 month of mock exams). Nationality B2: 2 months. Conversation: 6 months. Each course ends with a final mock exam (a practice test). The real DELF exam is taken at an exam centre and paid separately.

How do I pay?
To book, you pay a €30 deposit online (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay), taken off the €100 registration fee. Then every month before the 10th, online or at our office.
Are the classes in person?
Yes. All our classes are in person, in our classroom in Paris 10e: it is the best way to speak and practise.
How do I register?
Choose your class on our booking page and pay a €30 deposit online: your place is kept and you get your contract by e-mail. Not sure of your level? Take the free level test first. Visits to our office are by appointment only: book online, then we send you your appointment (Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 17:00). Book your place →
Can the teacher explain in Tamil?
Yes. Classes are in French, and the teacher explains in Tamil, Sinhala or English when you need it.
Where are you?
10 Rue Saint-Vincent de Paul, 75010 Paris, near Gare du Nord and La Chapelle. Visits to our office are by appointment only: book online, then we send you your appointment.
Can I change my mind after booking?
Yes. You have 14 days to change your mind, with a full refund of your €30 deposit.
